Who is behind it
I am the person behind Cedrio — Vladimír Meier. I do not work alone; I have a small team.
We stay close to the work. You talk to the people who design and build it, not to a sales team that hands the project on.
I have worked in IT since 2006. I started in banking infrastructure, later led DevOps and system reliability in insurance and global SaaS — cloud (AWS and Azure), automation, observability, and production platforms. I hold an MBA. I still care more about whether a solution actually runs in the company than about how many layers it has.
Why Cedrio exists
Large technology organisations have learned useful things the hard way: how to take backups that actually restore, how to see whether systems are healthy, how to ship changes without drama, and how not to add complexity just because you can.
Those principles help smaller companies too. They rarely need the same scale or the same tools. Cedrio keeps the useful parts and leaves behind the enterprise overhead a small company would only pay for.
How we work
- We want to understand the problem first. Technology comes second.
- If the best answer is a simple one, we will say so — even if that means there is no large project.
- What we build should be understandable and yours. Not a black box.
- After launch we plan for operations: backups, updates, monitoring, cost.
